Eyewitnesses recount the chaotic scene where vehicles were halted for the blasting, which lasted several minutes. Sadly, this isn't the first time rock blasting has caused destruction in the area. Residents have reported previous incidents damaging homes in the Big Apple area.

At St. Gregory Hospital, medical staff rushed to treat the injured. Hospital Administrator Mattias Ayegre-Anaba shared that 42 individuals received care. Four patients were transferred to other facilities, while 18 females, nine males and two others recover. Three were discharged, but tragically, three lives were lost.
